DAY
01: SINGAPORE/CHENGDU (MOB/L/D)
Assemble at Changi International Airport for your flight to Chengdu-land
of Abundance. After
having Sichuan cuisine as lunch, visit to Huang Long Xi – An
Old County in Western Sichuan and Qingyang palace. The Qingyang
Palace (Grey Goat Palace), located in the west suburbs of Chengdu,
is a famous Taoist temple first built in the Tang Dynasty. It is one of
the oldest and most extensive Taoist temples in Chengdu area.
DAY
02: CHENGDU/JIUZHAIGOU (B/L/D)
After
breakfast, depart Chengdu to
Jiuzhaigou by AIR. Upon arrival,
visit Huanglong (Yellow Dragon) Scenic Spot. Enjoy the
breathtaking scenery and experience the mysterious Tibetan culture. Located
in the virgin forests of the northwest of
Sichuan Province, Huanglong Scenic Spot is known as “the
heavenly scenery on earth”. The clear water flowing down from the
high, far snow-covered mountain forms crystal-clear, shallow and
sparkling pools with a tier upon tier. The pools surrounded by dark
green forests set off snow-white ice peaks and reflect a riot of colour
all over the place. It is such surpassing beautiful landscapes that
visitors seem to have entered a fairyland.
(If weather not
permitted, Huanglong will be replaced by
Mounigou Gully. You can hear the roar of the water long before
you see it. This is Zhaga waterfall, the biggest of its kind in China.
Again, calcium carbonate is shaping the landscape.)
DAY
03: JIUZHAIGOU (B/L/D)
Today, visit Jiuzhaigou
Nature Reserve. It is celebrated for unique virgin quietness and mystery under
heaven. The sparkling snow-covered peaks and dark green forests
remind people of the remote North-European scenery. There are over 100
plateau lakes of various sizes stretching over 10 km. The lakes,
waterfalls and streams are magnificent, elegant, serene, extremely
fascinating. Because of the
clear water and glittering stones at the bottom, the lakes reflect
sunlight so as to engender the dreamlike splendors. The visitors coming
here doubt whether they have been into a fairyland. Visit scenic spots
such as Rizhaigou, Shuzhenggou and Zechawagou.
DAY 04: JIUZHAIGOU/MAOXIAN (B/L/D)
After
breakfast, take coach to Miaoxian, enjoy the breathtaking scenery
Jiuzhaigou and experience the mysterious Tibetan culture. Maoxian
is the only Qiang Autonomous County in China.
DAY 05: MAOXIAN/CHENGDU (B/L/D)
After breakfast, take coach
back to Chengdu. Visit Nanjiao Park (nanjiao
gongyuan)
where the Temple of Duke Wu ( wuhou si ) stands alongside a lake and
pavilion. The temple was built by the King of the Cheng Empire in the
final years of the Western Jin period (265-316) in honor of the Three
Kingdoms military strategist and scholar Zhuge Liang. In the Ming period
(1368-1644), the temple was merged with the nearby Zhaomieliao temple,
which was dedicated to the memory of Emperor Liu Bei.
Enjoy
the Chengdu local delicacies as dinner.
DAY 06:
CHENGDU/LESHAN/MT EMEI (B/L/D)
After breakfast
proceed
to Leshan to visit the largest stone-caved Buddha in the world – Leshan
Giant Buddha. It is 71 meters high and is located east to Leshan at
the confluence of Min River, Qingyi River and Dahu River. It is caved
out of a piece of solid rock right on the cliff of Qixia Peak of Mt.
Linyun closed to the banks of the three rivers. Next, we continue to Mt.
Emei, one of the four famous Buddhist mountains in China. Visit the Baoguo
Monastery (Baoguo Si).
DAY 07:
MT EMEI/CHENGDU (B/L/D)
After breakfast,
continue our journey to Mt. Emei,
take a mini coach to the Wannian Monastery, Qingyin
Pavillion, YixianTian
and
Mt
Ermei Natural Ecological Monkey Zone.
Then
return to Chengdu.
DAY08 : CHENDGU/SINGAPORE (B/L)
After breakfast free leisure time till assemble time
transfer to airport for your flight back to Singapore.
