DAY
01: SINGAPORE/XIAMEN (D)
Assemble at Singapore Changi International Airport
for your flight to the beautiful beach resort city – Xiamen, the
second biggest city in Fujian Province. Upon arrival, meet and transfer to hotel,
then visit the Nanputuo Si (South Putuo Temple). The
temple sits at the bottom of Wulao Peak, just south of Xiamen. It was
first built during the Tang Dynasty (618-907), and reconstructed during
the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). The temple's unique trapezoid structure
overlooks the ocean and houses the Shrine of Buddhist Scriptures -- a
large collection of relics and important Buddhist texts. Then to
the Island Ring Road, enjoy its picturesque
scenery.
DAY
02: XIAMEN/QUANZHOU (B/L/D)
After breakfast,.
Gulangyu
Island,
known as "Garden On the Sea", also known
as Museum of Architecture of different countries is located in Xiamen city of Fujian Province. Visit Piano
museum, Shuzhuang
Garden.
Built in the style of "Yihong Garden" described in the novel
"Red Chamber Dream" it is like an emerald flower set upon the
seaside. Then take coach to Quanzhou, visit Kaiyuan
Temple, Dongxi Ta. We will have some local delicacies as dinner.
DAY 03: QUANZHOU/PUTIAN

After breakfast, visit Stone
Old Saint (Lao
Zi's Rock) at the foot of Mount Luoshan and Mount Wushan features a
sitting statue of Lao Zi, the founder of Taoism, carved out of a natural
rock during the Song Dynasty. The 5.1 metre-high statue, vivid and
exquisitely carved, is the largest Taoist stone sculpture in China now
under state protection. Next to Temple
of the Mother of the Heavenly Emperor (TianHou Temple). Then continue
our journey to Mazu
Miao (Mazu Temple) at
Meizhou
Island. It is a small, crescent-shaped island in Meizhou Bay, near the
city of Putian. The island is only about 10 square miles, but it draws
thousands of visitors each year as followers of Mazu (sometimes also
called Tianhou) come to pay their respects.
DAY 04: PUTIAN/YONGTAI/FUZHOU

After breakfast, visit South
ShaoLin temple. It
is about one dozen miles from the center of PuTian City. Next visit Qingyun
Shan (Qingyun Mountain), just 13 kilometres from the city of Yongtai.
While perhaps it is not as well known as Wuyi Shan but it is equal in
its beauty. Also the fact that it is less well known means there are
less tourists there so you can easily experience the peace and
tranquility in the midst of the fantastic landscape. Visit to Qingyun
Shan Gorge Waterfall Scenic Area. Then take coach to Fuzhou.
DAY 05: FUZHOU/XIAMEN/ZHANGZHOU

After breakfast, coach to
Gushan
Scenic
Area
(Drum
Hill). The Drum Hill on the northern bank of Minjiang River is
approximately 3,350 feet high, and gets its name from a huge, flat
drum-like rock on top of it. The Yongquan Temple on the hill was built
in 908. There are the white jade Sleeping Buddha and the scriptures of
various dynasties, all of which are of great value.
Drum Hill is also called the "forest of tablets in Fuzhou.".
Then we proceed to Zhangzhou, lying
in southern Fujian Province. Visit its scenic
spots such as the Nanshan Temple with a thousand-year history;
Hundred-Flower Village, about 2.5 km from Zhangzhou City proper
in the southern suburb, in a sea of flowers, is a famous spot for
viewing flowers.
DAY 06: ZHANGZHOU/YONGDING/XIAMEN

After breakfast, visit Yongding
Hakka earthen residential houses. Its
landscape
fascinates tourists with its enchanting mountains and waters. What adds
charm to the scenery is the groups of earth buildings strewed over the
valley and on the riverside. The unique style of these high, heavy,
unsophisticated and imposing human habitations have always been a wonder
to tourists. Then back to Xiamen, visit Jimei District including Turtle
Garden, Returnees Garden and the former residence of Mr. Tan Kah Kee.
DAY 07: XIAMEN/SINGAPORE
(B)
After
breakfast, visit White Egret Shoal Park and Tiger
Brook Rock. After
lunch, proceed to Xiamen Airport for
your flight back to your sweet home -
Singapore.
