It faces Elephant-trunk Hill across the Li River and stands against the Turtle Hill on the west bank. Two hills look like two fighting roosters, hence the name Rooster-fighting Hills. There is Tower Hill in front of the Chuanshan Hill with Shou Fo Pagoda of Ming Dynasty on the top. Xiaodong Rivers runs between the two hills with picturesque reflections on the water. The Chuanshan Hill has Moon Cave and Tunnel Cave. Moon Cave is at the middle hillside and looks like a moon. Standing in the cave, tourists will have a spectacular view looking to the north or south. Draped in a veil of grey mist, they offer a spectacular view. Most of the hills in Guilin are dark green with the only exception, Nanxi Hill tinted with white. There are many peculiar caves including White Dragon Cave and Liu Xian Cave. The earliest explorer of Nanxi Hill was the Inspector of Tang Dynasty named Libo and he liked these caves so much that he engraved his poem named "Farewell Nanxi" in one of the caves. The Dragon Spine Pavilion between the two peaks is the best place to sightsee the city of Guilin. The White Dragon Bridge is on Nanxi River. The White Dragon Spring to the north of the Hill is a well-known spring in Guilin. Next, another scenic spot Elephant Trunk Hill to view the beauty of nature.
