DAY
01: SINGAPORE/SHANGHAI/SUZHOU (MU544 0055HRS/0600HRS) (L/D)
Assemble
at Singapore Changi International Airport for your flight to Shanghai.
Upon arrival, depart
for Suzhou, famously known as the 'Venice of the East', which has a
unique landscape of criss-crossing waterways and streets. Visit Cold
Mountain Temple or Hanshan Temple, to view paintings, inscriptions and
other precious artefacts. For lunch, sample of Gusu cuisine.
After lunch visit Shizilin
(Lion Forest Garden). Then to Ouyuan (Couple's
Garden Retreat) Garden. Enjoy a Suzhou local Banquet for
dinner.
DAY
02: SUZHOU/WUXI
(B/L/D)
After breakfast, visit to
a silk factory, where you will view a fashion show and learn how
silk is made. Next, depart for Wuxi and visit Three Kingdoms Park,
the filming site of the TV drama ‘The Three Kingdoms’. Here,
you can visit the military camp of Cao, castles on water, warships, and
the palaces of kingdom Wu and Ganlu (Sweet dew) Temple. Film and TV
cultural shows, like the Wedding Ceremony of Liubei-the King of Wu
kingdom and the Scheme of Cheating Arrows, with clustered scarecrows on
the decks of warships are performed regularly in the town. Have Xue Jia Garden tea feast
as lunch. Thereafter, visit a zisha teapot
factory. Enjoy
Emperor Qianlong Banquet dinner.
DAY
03: SUZHOU/WUXI
(B/L/D)
After breakfast,, take a cruise on the picturesque Taihu
Lake, is the third largest freshwater
lake in China. Thereafter,
visit a Taihu Pearl Culture Farm.
Coach to Hangzhou, famously known as 'Heaven on
Earth'. Take a leisurely cruise on the lovely West Lake, which is
enveloped by lush green hills with its clear waters reflecting the
surrounding landscape. Continue to Huagang Park, one of the 10
scenic spots of West Lake, which features a peony garden and a carp pond
filled with countless golden carp. Lunch will be the Red-mud Marmite
Cuisine. Next, visit Tea Culture Village,
where you can savour its famous Longjing tea. Enjoy Zhejiang local cuisine
dinner.
DAY
04: HANGZHOU/TONGXIANG/SHANGHAI
(B/L/D)
After breakfast, drive to
Xitang Village-known as China Water Town, with ancient docks,
waterside pavilions and corridors and a romantic atmosphere typical of a
Jiangnan water town. Visit
the traditional farmers houses, bridges across the small streams, paddy
fields and feel their life style. Sample Xitang local cuisine –
Fried salt crab for lunch. Enroute,
visit Tongxiang,
known as “Phoenix City”, famous for its chrysanthemums. Depart for Shanghai, Pearl of the Orient". Visit
Shanghai
Xin Tian Di.
It has become the best place for tourists to appreciate the history and
modern life of the city, and is also a meeting place for local citizens
and foreign visitors.
Enjoy Ningbo cuisine dinner.
DAY 05: SHANGHAI/SINGAPORE (23HRS) (B/L)
After
breakfast, visit Chenghuangmiao Shopping Area. Visit the
Shanghai
Old Street, surround by renovated shophouses and buildings constructed in the
Ming and Qing Dynasties style. It is a fun place to wander about for a
taste of the old days when Shanghai was a walled city. Have
a walk along the famous Shanghai Bund,
the historic waterfront area lined with colonial buildings, you can
enjoy a sight of rows of magnificent buildings on the banks and ships of
different sizes briskly playing Huangpu River. Lunch sample Shanghai Hongzi Chicken.
Visit
the City of Tian Lu and Century
Boulevard Pudong. And thereafter walk along the bustling Nanjing
Road.
Discover Shanghai's charms on the bank of Huangpu River, which holds
beautiful old buildings of various architectural styles.
After
the visit,
free at leisure, you
can do some last minute shopping before you transfer to the airport for
your flight home to Singapore.
DAY
06: SINGAPORE
Arrive Singapore.
