Beijing Shopping Tour
DAY 01: SINGAPORE/BEIJING (MOB)
Assemble at Changi
International Airport for flight to the capital city of China-Beijing. It’s the political, economy,
culture, communication and tourism centre of China with thousands years history, vast scenic spots and historical
sites, museums, memorial halls, former residence of celebrities, high-rising buildings and
shopping malls.
DAY
02: BEIJING (B/L/D)
Reach Beijing in the early morning. After
breakfast, take a tricycle drawn by man to Hutong (lane), visit
traditional house of Beijing people-siheyuan, a compound with houses
around a courtyard, to get to some Beijing people and the culture of
Beijing. After that, visit the Underground City, it is the biggest
underground shopping centre in Beijing. All kinds of goods with low cost
are available. Tonight enjoy the famous Acrobatic Show.
DAY
03: BEIJING (B/L/D)
Visit
the largest public square in the world – Tiananmen Square, which
covers a total area of 400,000 square metres, today is a place for
people to lounge around in the evening and to fly decorated kites and
balloons for the kiddies. Surrounding the square is a strange mishmash
of monuments past and present: Tiananmen Gate, Chinese Revolution
History Museum, the Great Hall of People, the Mao Mausoleum and the
Monument to the People’s Heroes, etc. Next, Visit the Great Bell
Temple, which houses the biggest bell in China, 6.75m tall and weighing
a hefty 46.5 tonnes, the bell is inscribed with Buddhist sutras,
comprising over 227,000 Chinese characters.
DAY
04: BEIJING (B/L/D)
After
breakfast, take coach to the Great Wall, one of the greatest
architectural works built in ancient China. It stretches some 6,000km
from the Shanhai Guan on the east coast to Jiayu Guan in the Gobi
Desert. You will visit Juyong Pass section of the wall, this section
was considered one of the most strategically important because of its
position as a link to Beijing and also one of the most representative
sections of the wall. After lunch shop at the famous walking street-Wangfujing
Street, this prestigious shopping street is just east of the Forbidden
City. It’s a solid block of stores and a favourite haunt of locals and
tourists as well as the classiest shopping area in the city with
large-of-the kind stores. Next, continue to Dong Fang Xin Tian Di
(Oriental New Heaven and Earth), Visit Donghuamen Gate Night Market
after dinner.
DAY
05: BEIJING (B/L)
Shop at Yaxiu shopping
centre in the morning, this is the place to buy fake brand-name
clothing, shoes and purses that made in China and you can bargain with
the sellers. After lunch, shop at Xidan shopping centre to do some last
minute shopping. Proceed to airport for flight back to Singapore.
